really, i have found that everything translates to mastering nicely with a combination of genelec/focal/car speaks but i have been missing the days of referencing via boomboxes. i.e. 3″ speaks can solve as many mix-related mishaps as checking them in mono. i just stumbled on these little tascam vl-m3 babies and was surprised, wait, blown [...]
